Also known as Lemon Drop, this is sometimes listed as a Capsicum chinense variety, but the flower and other characteristics are typical of Capsicum baccatum.
The yellow fruit are produced in abundance late in the season, and have a marked flavour of bitter lemon. The chillies keep well fresh, and also freeze well. When dried the lemon fragrance is remarkably strong.
