Tabasco obviously needs warmer, more humid conditions than were provided by a large commercial glasshouse in the UK, and would probably perform better in a polytunnel where the humidity is higher. Even one small chilli is enough to flavour a dish and add a pleasing degree of spiciness, so it is well worth growing in spite of its low yield.
