Bar Manager

(part time, 20-25 hours p/week)

We’re on the hunt for an experienced, highly motivated and dynamic Bar Manager to join our growing team.

Working closely with our General Manager, our ideal candidate will have previous hospitality management experience and be able to:

  • Maintain exceptional customer service and build excellent relationships with venue performers, customers and partners.

  • Train, manage and inspire the team to perform to the best of their abilities by having a positive can-do attitude, fostering a productive work environment. 

  • Oversee day-to-day bar operations, ensuring high standards of service and compliance with licensing objectives and regulations.

  • Demonstrate a high attention to detail and presentation, maintaining exemplary cleaning standards across the venue.

  • Manage our inbound private hire bookings. Upsell and promote our booking options to drive sales, responding to enquiries in a professional and timely manner.

  • Support business growth through innovative promotional techniques and social media content to attract new customers and retain regular patrons.

  • Work with the management team to ensure a consistent, high standard of cocktails and drinks are served. Help manage seasonal specials and influence new ideas based on industry trends and customer demand. 

  • Maintain and update the POS system, utilising tools such as stock control and reporting.

  • Liaise with artists/promoters/sound tech and party bookers - acting as first port of call during events/bookings.

  • Support basic troubleshooting of music equipment (full training will be provided).


Requirements

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

  • Solid organisational skills and attention to detail.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.

  • Personal Licence holder.
